JOHN DYHOUSE

I have been writing songs for many years,  I started before I could even play an instument. I used to beat out a rythm on a tin box full of nails and similar strange contraptions. I would have been about 12 or 13 years old when I first started. But the songs below are from the late sixties and seventies. I guess I slowed down creatively after these glorious years (for the music not for me!!) and never really did much more except in dribs and drabs. I took to writing poetry instead. Much easier on the ear for the neighbours/
